Lost Valley Loop

Another 10-mile loop option out of Fall Creek TH, but more mellow than the 8-50-6 loop. Utilizing the Lost Valley, Mima Falls, and McKenny Trails , this route was once known as the Lost Valley of Death But, recent trail work and re-routes have turned what was once a mud-fest 8 months of the year into a year-round rider. The loop is usually done counter clockwise, which gives a longer, but still gradual climb up to the McKenny Trail that is then rewarded with the ripping descent back to Fall Creek on McKenny. But, don't discount clockwise if you're looking for a more challenging, switchbacked climb with a longer, more gradual descent.
